For a neighbor facing an empty pantry, a bag of groceries can make a difficult week a little easier. Across Central and Southern Indiana, families turn to our food pantries for food and the reassurance that their community cares. As the holidays approach, that need does not pause—and neither does the work of volunteers who help make food available.

Share Food. Share the Love. invites workplaces, churches, clubs, families and community groups to help keep our food pantries stocked and ready to serve. Organizations can coordinate a traditional food drive, organize a Virtual Food Drive that invites participants to purchase groceries online, or bring a group together for a day of service. Every effort helps strengthen the community response to food insecurity.

The impact goes beyond a holiday meal. Food support can help a household stretch its budget, relieve an immediate pressure and make room for other essentials. And when neighbors come together around a food drive, they build relationships that can sustain this mission throughout the year.
