So many people have asked what they can do from home to assist us in our mission to help our neighbors. With so many people home from school and work, we would like to encourage you, your children and your neighbors to start cleaning out your closets, pantries and garages. Most of us have an abundance of clothing, housewares and knick-knacks and there’s no time like the present to start your Spring cleaning.

We are in need of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing; linens; pots and pans, dinnerware, silverware, glassware and kitchen utensils; small appliances; and knick-knacks.

Once you have gathered your donations, you can:

  • Bring them to one of our drop box locations in Catholic Church parking lots around the city. Check out our “find a clothing bin” map for drop box locations.
  • Drop them off at the Distribution Center 1201 E. Maryland Georgia Street Dock #3 Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.
  • For larger items (furniture, etc.) call 317-687-6001 to request a pickup date. We are now picking up Tuesday-Saturday.

In line with public guidelines, we are reopening the Distribution Center and its services gradually. Both Mission 27 Resale Stores have reopened, however the referral desk located in the Leota Street store will remain closed until further notice. Questions? 317-924-5769 ext. 320.

Many of you have donated material goods to St. Vincent de Paul in the past and we are grateful. We are hoping these donations don’t stop during these unsettling times. We’re all in this together … thank you for praying for and supporting St. Vincent de Paul and the people we serve.
