Changing Lives Forever Curriculum Synopsis

A participant of the Changing Lives Forever program said, “When I walk out my door everything looks different now.” Because of his participation in the program, he recognized that knowledge and understanding are power.

To fill out an application suggests that you’re ready to start the journey toward change –– toward “getting ahead.”  The change that will result is that you will better understand yourself and your relationship to the rest of the world –– your family and friends, the police, your neighborhood, the social service agencies, etc. Your movement toward a better future will begin in the very first session.

This is a tough program, and it requires discipline. The program lasts a minimum of 18 continuous sessions, one day a week for three hours.

The only way that change happens is when you can identify your current life and determine what you want your future to look like. This program will be an educational experience like no other. Past participants have stated that they learned about things they didn’t know existed, terms and phrases that were new, and resources that had been invisible to them. You will complete exercises that will help you identify not only your own strengths and weaknesses but also the strengths and weaknesses of your community. Having this knowledge will be a major advantage toward “getting ahead.” You have the opportunity to graduate from this program with a future vision and a plan for the steps it will take to achieve it. The really powerful part is that who you will be tomorrow is decided by what you do today. If you are ready, we are, too.
