St. Vincent de Paul-Indianapolis (SVdP Indy) serves the most vulnerable in our community. On a daily basis, we provide for the most basic of human needs: food, clothing, diapers, beds and more. We dedicate ourselves to providing neighbors with a pathway out of poverty—one rooted in love, support and skills training in order to build a sustainable future. We do that through our Changing Lives Forever program and our Love Your Neighbor Center. Whether we’re meeting day-to-day needs or helping people realize a brighter future, we strive to love our neighbors in a way that’s dignified and respectful.
Whatever your need, we want to help. We offer resources like food, diapers, clothing and household items. If we can’t provide what you need, we’ll try to connect you with an organization that can. And if you want to make changes in your life, we can provide support through our Changing Lives Forever program and the Love Your Neighbor Center.
All of the work we do to serve our neighbors only happens because of the generosity of our donors—people who believe, like us, that we are called to love one another, regardless of circumstances. We hope you’ll support our work and join us in fulfilling our mission.
Our volunteers freely give of their time and their talents. They consistently show care and concern. Without them, we couldn’t do the work we do. The needs continue to grow and volunteer support is always needed. Please consider serving alongside us.
Our Mission 27 thrift stores have allowed us to add a more sustainable revenue source, expanding our reach within the community. Proceeds are used to provide more nutritious food at our food pantry, as well as support the growth of our Changing Lives Forever (CLF) program. When you shop at one of our two stores, you’re doing more than getting a unique find, you’re shopping for a good purpose.
At SVdP Indy, we’re passionate about making an impact in our community.
