Your Gifts have Immediate Impact

Your support enables us to provide groceries for local families, offer a bed for a child to sleep on, outfit our unsheltered friends, engage people in our Changing Lives Forever program, or house someone at the Love Your Neighbor Center.

Ways to Give Financially

For questions regarding donations, please call Wendy Harlow, Philanthropy Director, at 317-921-1405.

Online Gifts

Every dollar makes a difference. Whether it’s a one-time gift or recurring donations, both make a great impact, enabling bulk purchases and stretching your dollar further. We also encourage tribute gifts in honor of someone.

If you prefer, you may also download a donation form and mail your gift to 2500 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203. Make checks payable to Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Stocks & Securities

Many also choose to support SVdP Indy through gifts of stock and securities. It’s easy to make such a gift through an electronic transfer (DTC) from your brokerage account to the SVdP account. Here is the information you’ll need:

EIN: 37-1507632
DTC #: 0793/Stifel
Account #: 3440-8789
Account: Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Indianapolis Council

Investments & Estate Planning

You have the option of gifting SVdP Indy through mutual funds, IRAs and estate planning. Our team is available to meet with you and discuss the best options. Please call 317-921-1405 to schedule an appointment.

Membership requires only a desire to include SVdP Indy in your estate plans.

If you would like to be included in The Rosalie Circle, contact Wendy Harlow, Philanthropy Director, at 317-921-1405 or philanthropy@svdpindy.org.

Ways to Make In-Kind Gifts

While monetary gifts allow us to buy more needed items in bulk at a lower price, we appreciate that there are times when it’s preferable to make in-kind gifts—engaging work, school or other groups in a food drive; passing along gently used household items; donating a vehicle or purchasing a mattress for someone in need.

Food drives allow people to better understand how their dollars are used in our 30th Street Food Pantry. You may use our virtual food drive site, or we can customize one for your group. If you prefer to conduct a traditional food drive, any collected items can be dropped off at our food pantry (3001 E. 30th Street) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Please contact philanthropy@svdpindy.org or 317-921-1405 for assistance with your food drive, including a list of the items currently in greatest demand.

We’re grateful for your support and try to make it easy for you to donate items. Whether you are dropping off donations or scheduling a donation pick-up, you have two options on how to handle. First priority for donations is to give them our neighbors in need and those who reach out to us through the Helpline. After that, donations are funneled to the Mission 27 stores, which provide an additional revenue for our food pantry and Changing Lives Forever program.

Our Dream a Little Dream program provides mattresses, box springs, bedding, blankets and pillows to those living in poverty and sharing a bed or sleeping on the floor. You may visit our Mission 27 stores to buy a brand-new mattress (queen, full or twin) and we’ll take care of delivery. You may also support the program through by making an online donation.

We welcome vehicle donations, and vehicles do not have to be in working order to be accepted. We partner with CARS to accept donations. Visit svdpusa.careasy.org or call 800-322-8284 to learn how to donate a vehicle.
